Granulation method

Due to the different granulation methods, the tablet granulation method has:

(1) Extrusion granulation method: the medicinal material is added with a binder or a wetting agent or a thick immersion syrup, and is mixed into a soft material which is "kneaded into a mass, lightly squashed and dispersed", and is extruded through a sieve mesh. The granulation method is the granulation method which is currently used most in production.

(2) Wet mixing granulation method: a granulation method in which a medicinal material and an auxiliary material are co-located in a sealed container of a rapid stirring granulator, and the mixing, the soft material, the granulation and the spheronization are completed once.

(3) Spray rotary granulation method: the mixture of the powder and the auxiliary material is rotated in a coating pan or a suitable container, and the wetting agent or the adhesive is sprayed in a mist to make the powder adhere into small particles while heating to make water. Evaporate and roll until the granules are dry. This method is suitable for Chinese medicine semi-dip powder, extract powder or viscous drug fine powder granules.

(4) Fluidized spray granulation method: also known as "boiling granulation" or "one-step granulation method". The granulated powder is placed in the fluidization chamber of the fluidized spray granulation equipment, using air flow (temperature adjustable A method in which the suspension is fluidized and then sprayed with a wetting agent or a binder liquid to condense the powder into granules.

(5) Spray drying granulation method: the Chinese medicine concentrated liquid is atomized into a suitable size droplet by a special atomizer to be sprayed into the drying chamber, and dried in a hot air stream to obtain fine particles close to a spherical shape. The dry granules can be directly compressed or granulated by spraying.
