How to ensure the sensitivity of the turbine flowmeter sensor
In order to ensure that the flash surface has satisfactory sensitivity to the pulse signal output from the turbine sensor, the signal to noise ratio is advanced. In order to fully promote the characteristics of the turbine flowmeter, it is necessary to pay sufficient attention to the use of the flowmeter equipment. For this reason, various electrical annoyance phenomena, namely electromagnetic induction, electrostatic and capacitive coupling, should be prevented in the equipment.
1 The uneven distribution of flow velocity and the presence of secondary flow in the pipe are important factors affecting the measurement accuracy of the turbine flowmeter. Therefore, the turbine flow meter has a certain need for the upper and lower straight pipe sections. Regarding industrial measurement, it is generally required to have an upstream 20D and a straight tube length of 5D.
2 Turbine flowmeters have a high need for fluid cleanliness, and equipment filters are required in front of the flowmeter to ensure fluid cleaning. The filter can be selected from a funnel type, and its cleanliness can be measured by differential pressure at both ends.
3 To ensure that the liquid passing through the flowmeter is single-phase, that is, air or vapor cannot enter the flowmeter, a gas trap should be installed upstream of the flowmeter if necessary. Regarding the easily gasified liquid, it is necessary to ensure a certain back pressure under the flow meter. The back pressure can be taken as twice the pressure drop of the volume sensor at the maximum flow rate and 1.2 times the vapor pressure of the liquid to be measured at the highest temperature. In order to eliminate the secondary activity, it is best to install a rectifier on the upstream end. If the upstream end can guarantee a straight pipe section of about 20D and a rectifier is installed, the measurement accuracy of the flowmeter can be adjusted to the accuracy level of the qualified punctuality.
In addition, turbine flowmeters for high viscosity hydraulic oil, oil, small diameter specifications can be selected for real-flow calibration.
