1. Symptoms Seedlings (after nursery stage or after planting) Roots do not show new roots. The larvae appear rust-brown on the surface and decay afterwards, causing yellowing of the upper leaves. Severe wilting is dead and easy to pull up.
2. Etiology is caused by low temperature (ground temperature below 12°C), long duration of watering, excessive watering or rainy weather, and insufficient light.
3. The method of prevention and cure shall be flat and no irrigation shall be allowed. Even the cloudy and rainy days need to be ventilated and lighted in time.
Use solar energy greenhouses or heating lines to raise seedlings. Strengthen management of seedbed ground temperature and control seedbed temperature above 15°C. After the occurrence of a slight rooting, the soil must be loosened and the ground temperature raised. After the new root grows, it will be transferred to normal management.
