The intermittent operation sedimentation centrifuge has a three-legged sedimentation centrifuge and a scraper slag sedimentation centrifuge. The clarified separation liquid is discharged through the spiral passage from the overflow port at the big end of the drum. The two liquids with different densities are separated into two layers of light and heavy liquid in the drum, and are discharged through the light and heavy liquid overflow ports of the big end. The screw centrifuge has good separation performance, strong adaptability, and is insensitive to changes in feed concentration. The operating temperature can be -100 to 300 ° C; the operating pressure is generally normal pressure, and the closed pressure can be from vacuum to 1 × 106 Pa; The liquid handling capacity can reach 0.4-60 m3/h. It is suitable for treating a suspension having a particle size of 0.002 to 6 mm, a solid phase concentration of 1 to 50%, and a solid solution density difference of more than 0.05 kg/dm3. This centrifuge can also be used for the classification of solid particles of different densities and sizes, such as grading in beneficiation.
