Sterilization is an extremely important part of the cultivation of shiitake mushrooms and it is related to the success or failure of cultivation.

First of all, before the mushroom mix, we must meditation to check the degree of sterilization of the sterilization stove, the degree of flame burning and whether the cooling air is smooth. Secondly, after the bagging is completed, the bag should be immediately taken in and the bag should be placed neatly in accordance with the amount of 3 tons of material per stove. At the same time add enough water to the sterilizer. Third, the material bag enters the end of the stove, and then the material pile is closed and the temperature rises. After the ignition, the fan must be turned to the maximum and a large fire must be used. The temperature of the bag should be raised to 100°C for 4-5 hours, and then enter the holding stage. In the holding stage, a low-fire and slow-fire method should be used to keep the material temperature at 100°C. If a 15-17 cm wide bag is used, the time for maintaining 100 °C should not be less than 16 hours; if a 24 cm wide bag is used, the time for maintaining 100 °C should not be less than 24 hours. In the maintenance phase, pay attention to the relationship between water and fire. When water is added, it must be burned to ensure that the temperature does not decrease. Absolutely no phenomenon occurs because the water in the stove is too low for a long time due to too much water. After reaching the time of ceasefire, bury the material for 12 hours and use the residual heat in the stove to continue sterilization.
